In a nutshell, this blog of mine is all about the definition of the signs I found in my dreams.
For example:
Some weeks ago, I dreamed of a guy hugging me while I was laying on some table [I think]. He held me from the back. From that point, I only saw his left big hand [I'm quite not sure of the details]. I hold his hand, feeling it, just a simple hold of his hand. Then after a few moments of silence, I broke away from his arms and saw him. He looked kind of American and He wasn't old. He looks around from 18-25 years old. I never knew anyone like him in real life, which I find kind of weird. Then I just looked at him. And the dream ended, I believe.
I usually check Dreammoods.com for the definitions I saw in my dreams.
From my example, which is a dream that I actually dreamed weeks ago, I checked for the definition of:
MAN:
To see a man in your dream, denotes the masculine aspect of yourself - the side that is assertive, rational, aggressive, and/or competitive. If the man is known to you, then the dream may reflect you feelings and concerns you have about him.
If you are a woman and dream that you are in the arms of a man, suggests that you are accepting and welcoming your stronger assertive personality . It may also highlight your desires to be in a relationship and your image of the ideal man.
To dream of your hands, represents your relationship to those around you and how you connect with the world. Hands serve as a form of communication. Perhaps you need to lend out a helping hand to someone. In particular, the left hand symbolizes your graciousness and feminine, receptive qualities. And the right hand symbolizes masculine, active attributes. It may also be a pun for some decision or something being "right" If your hands are injured, then it denotes an attack on your ego. If you dream that you are holding hands with someone, represents your connection with that person. Your dream may also reflect anxieties about losing touch with him/her or that you are drifting apart.
To dream that your hands are clasped or closed, signifies unity, completeness, acceptance or agreement. On a more negative note, it may suggest that you are close-minded, ungiving or unwilling to help.
From the definitions above, my dream [from the example]:
The MAN - probably is saying to me subconsciously that I desire to be in a relationship? Well, I don't know about that. Maybe I do since I keep on "teasing" people like "Someone loves Someone"... Probably such actions connote my insecurities since I have no one to call as my own, like a boyfriend for example. It's not like that I do really really want to be in one. I just let time and nature takes it place.
The HAND - I have not yet mentioned this from the dream example, but I think I have used my right hand in holding the guy's hand but still, I found impossible because while I was laying on that dream, I was facing the right side. So in facing the right side, I am only able to use the left hand against the left hand of that guy, to clasped my hand on his. From my own point of view, the hand would either symbolize my own completeness [since I am happy being single] or my own close-mindedness on relationships.
And yes, simply stated. As the name of my blog implies, Definition of Dreams. I might also, at the end of each blog entry, add some miscellaneous items that I find interesting at the moment like music for example, or some stories. And this is how it ends.
